In addtion to whole prunes, a range of value-added prune products are produced, including pitted prunes, prune juice, prune pulp and prunes in syrup.

The industry provides consumer packed prunes to supermarkets in all states and territories as well as servicing the bulk and food service markets.

Gross value of retails sales of prunes is approximately $25 million per annum.
