Melissa (Sales) Pty Ltd is wholly owned and managed by the Hagidimitriou family and is known for its consistent quality and reliability.  Melissa manufactures its products by the traditonal methods that have stood the test of time.  The benefits of using these methods and taking the extra care are easy to see when the majority of our clients have been loyal supporters for many years.

Our current Managing Director, Mr Paris Hagidimitriou, has over 50 years of experience in the manufacturing of confectionery both in Australia and Greece.  Paris has also been involved, on a consultancy basis, to government organisations such as the CSIRO in advising on the technical aspects of sesame seed farming in rural NSW, and the governments of the countries of Somalia and Burma regarding the dehulling process of sesame seeds.

Melissa is also undertaking the steps necessary to obain HACCP accredition, as part of our ongoingcommitment to ensure the safety and reliablity of our products, which we see as being essential in the food industry.

Melissa is best known in Australia for its quality Paris Cookies, Sugar Almonds, Turkish Delight, Halva and Tahini (sesame seed pulp).  The latter being the primary ingredient in the recently introduced "Energy Cookie" which is well known in the health foods industry.
